Everclear at CWRU

October 5, 2001-Everclear is playing in Adelbert Gym at Case Western Reserve University. If there's an opening band, it's likely some random campus act.

List of perpetrators is as follows-
Pretty much most of the people at Case that don't suck.

The campus was pretty excited when Everclear was announced as the concert for this fall. People at Case care so little about things, though, that ticket sales were pretty slow. Still, I think they've almost sold out. As of a few hours before the doors opening, I don't have a ticket. Lots of people have a spare, I'll likely be able to pick one up.

So I'm writing this a long time in the future, but here's about how it went.
Keith Kravec and I drank a bit at the house, then filled a flask with rum and went down to Adelbert Gym for the show. I had no ticket and they were sold out, but we told the ticket people that I was a prospective student, so they sold me one anyway. Lots of other Betas and other friends of mine from campus were there, including but not limited to Mike Bode, Duff, Jim Burton, and Dallas Boyan. Keith and I purchased 20oz Pepsis and split the rum between them. Ended up being one of the more fun times you could have at Case. I'm not the biggest fan of Everclear, but the crowd was fun...sort of a friendly mosh pit formed. So people were throwing each other around and whatnot, but without any of the outright attempts to hurt people. Everclear played all the fan favorites, and seemed to enjoy themselves. We left the show, all hot and sweaty, and stepped out into pretty much a monsoon. By the time we'd completed a jog back to the house, we were all drenched, and just collapsed on the couches downstairs. There's some good pictures.
