Weather Update!

-It looks like we'll be ok. The storm that has been causing worries is hitting on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday is looking pretty nice, maybe even sunny.
Now, here's what's actually going down-
As soon as possible on Thursday, (Time still to be decided) everyone but me, basically, will have assembled in Mansfield. Jesse Brown's mom has graciously offered to provide transport for the group of you, to my house. Danny Schmitt will also be driving some. We get you all here, load the van, and head south on Rt. 15, east on 80, south on 476, west on 22, and south on 737 into Kutztown. I expect that process to take well over two hours. With any luck, at least. We meet Scott, who has our tickets, at 7:15. This may provide a bit of a time crunch, let's hope not. After the show, we're going to get going pretty quickly, I hope to leave Kutztown before midnight, (8PM show) and get back here around 2-3AM. On Friday, I'm not going to school. (See that guest list? I do not trust those people in my house.) I expect to migrate back up towards Mansfield in the middle of the day, and then on to Corning, but back to Mansfield to spend the night.

What do you need? I've got transportation covered, but if you want to eat between mid-afternoon and 2AM, you're going to have to purchase some food, somewhere along the way. So bring a few bucks, plus the $22 to pay Scott if you haven't already. You need a change of clothes and, if you can bring a sleeping bag, that'd be nice. A backpack with things for the actual ride out to Kutztown is a good idea. Tom, you'd put your coloring books, etc here. The rest of your will probably want CDs, snacks, that sorta thing. Ample music will be provided, but more is welcome. Warm clothing is a tricky matter. Trivial Pursuits cards will also be present. You need to be wearing something warm, since we'll probably be standing outside a least some, the high will be around 30 for the day, and it'll be dark and pretty windy. However, once we get into the concert, excpect to be warm. My plan is for a t-shirt and sweatshirt. The sweatshirt, I can tie around my waist and try to keep cool. A big coat keeps you warm, but what to do with it once you're inside? A possible alternate plan is to kinda scope out security. If they're cool about stuff, a backpack (With items for both bands to potentially autograph) could be also used to hold sweatshirts. Speaking of backpacks and security, my temptation to tape this show is VERY strong. (TMBG has three new songs, if we got a tape, flipse.com could be the place MP3s of these songs first hit the net...) However, I think I'm going to resist, first because I don't have any decent taping equiptment, second because it's just a big hassle.
