This little sign roughly explains the following. In 1989, Czechs, under communist rule, began climbing over the fence & onto the land of the West German embassy. The guards chose not to stop them. This is where the Berlin wall really began to fall.

Surabhi accidentally drinks a non-alcoholic beer. It didn't say so on the menu, just on the bottle! The wait staff laughed on.

Hall of mirrors

So many figures to rub on this statue. Later we found out Dylan rubbed the dog which is definitively for bad luck, case in point, we returned married from this trip.

The crazy cuckoo clock in Praha's center.

Here we are, drinking & eating in a classic Czech drinking hall (the Golden Tiger). Dylan didn't know what to order so he ordered the first thing on the menu. It turned out to be a large piece of battered & fried pork. Not half bad.

A church adorned with bones in Kutna Hora, about an hour outside of Praha.

Dylan decked out for our tour of the silver mine.

The crowd at a soccer game, Slavia Praha vs Liverinc. Slavia won 1-0.

The Fred & Ginger building--does it look like a man & woman dancing to you?

Surabhi eating a "cold plate" at another beer hall. Who knew ham, swiss cheese, slaw & a pickle could be so delicious?

Praha!

Surabhi with Richard, perhaps the best hostel employee in all of Europe, at Sir Toby's Hostel.

Surabhi flanked by a glass of grog & a glass of Budvar or the original Budweiser.

Steak tartar, Dylan's final meal in Prague.

Friends we made on an overnight train. The bloke is from Australia, the chica from Puerto Rico.

Pong along the Siene (back in Paris)

Sweet urinals

Dylan & his old friend Rob, from Manchester, England

Dylan attacking the Bastille.

The Museum of Modern Art in Paris. The duct work is exposed on the outside in order to provide more space inside & for aesthetics.

Beautiful Paris from atop the Eiffel.

Honeymooners atop the Eiffel--windy but worth it!

There she is.
