1/27/97-Smashing Pumpkins with Fountains of Wayne opening at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA.
Great show, but I had to go with my sister and my dad's friend at the time, Sonja. It was a school night even, so
she got us after school, took us to State College, and brought us home real late afterwards. This was a huge
basketball arena, and we had some of the worst seats possible. We were actually in the next to last row from the
top, and at the other end of the place from the stage. So, they were kinda hard to see. But it was still great. I
liked the Fountains of Wayne show, so I got their CD. Smashing Pumpkins came on and rocked quite a bit as
well. I also picked up one Smashing Pumpkins and one Greenpeace tshirt.
